Infiniti has a new model on the way, with the QX65 confirmed as part of a broader wave of new vehicles arriving across the industry in 2026 and beyond. Here's what's known so far, and what it means for owners of the brand's existing Q/QX lineup.
QX65 Joins Infiniti's Coming Lineup
Consumer Reports has listed the Infiniti QX65 among a broader wave of anticipated 2026-and-beyond arrivals spanning the industry, alongside vehicles like the BMW X5, Audi Q9, and Mercedes-Benz GLE. While full specifications haven't been detailed publicly, the QX65 nameplate suggests a coupe-styled crossover positioned to slot alongside the brand's existing QX50 and QX60 SUVs, following the naming convention Infiniti has used across its recent SUV lineup.
Infiniti's Shared Platform Heritage
Infiniti has a long history of sharing core platform and drivetrain architecture with parent company Nissan, a relationship that continues to benefit owners on the maintenance and parts side. Models like the G37 share meaningful mechanical overlap with Nissan's 370Z, for example - a connection that keeps parts availability strong even for older Infiniti models well past their original production run.
What This Means for Current Infiniti Owners
As Infiniti continues expanding its SUV lineup with models like the incoming QX65, the brand's existing sedans and coupes - including the G37 and its successors - benefit from a mature, well-supported aftermarket built on shared Nissan platform components.
