Installation
Professional installation is recommended. After replacement, test the vehicle in a safe, empty area before driving on the road.
- Safely raise the vehicle and support the rear axle.
- Remove the upper and lower shock mounting bolts and take out the original shock.
- Install the new shock and hand-tighten the bolts.
- Lower the vehicle onto its wheels, then torque the bolts to factory specifications with the suspension at ride height.
