The Audi A3 8V Sedan (2013–2020) is the third-generation A3 in four-door saloon form, built on the Volkswagen MQB platform and spanning two generations of the 8V platform: Pre-Facelift 8V (2013–2016) and Facelift 8V.5 (2016.5–2020). All A3 Sedan, S3 Sedan, and RS3 Sedan (8V and 8V.5) share the same MQB-derived rear trunk lid panel geometry — a wide, near-horizontal saloon trunk lid with a clean trailing edge. The S3 Sedan (310 hp, Quattro) and RS3 Sedan (400 hp, five-cylinder DOHC, Quattro) are performance derivatives of the A3 platform with unique front bumpers and badging, but the rear trunk lid is shared across all three models in both 8V Pre-Facelift and 8V.5 Facelift specification. This spoiler fits all three models confirmed — A3, S3, and RS3 — across the full 2014–2020 8V/8V.5 production run.
8V Pre-Facelift vs 8V.5 Facelift — Same Trunk Lid
The A3 8V received its mid-cycle facelift in 2016 (8V.5) with revised front and rear lighting and a refreshed interior — but the rear trunk lid panel geometry is unchanged between 8V Pre-Facelift and 8V.5 Facelift. This spoiler fits both 8V and 8V.5 Sedan variants across the full 2014–2020 production run without distinction.
