The Audi A3 8Y (2021+) is the fourth-generation A3 built on Volkswagen's MQB Evo platform — a full redesign over the outgoing 8V, featuring a lower, wider stance, a more aggressive exterior character, and a completely new rear trunk lid geometry in the four-door Sedan body. The A3 8Y Sedan's trunk lid is a wide, near-horizontal saloon panel with a clean trailing edge and a sharper rear character line — a more assertive surface than the 8V's softer rear end. This carbon fiber rear trunk spoiler mounts at the 8Y Sedan's trunk trailing edge via double-sided tape, adding a raised carbon lip across the full trailing edge width that accentuates the 8Y's sharper rear character. Fits all A3 8Y Sedan, S3 8Y Sedan, and RS3 8Y Sedan variants from 2021 onward. 2 kg, tape-on, under 20 minutes.

A3 / S3 / RS3 8Y Sedan — MQB Evo Platform, One Trunk Lid, Three Performance Tiers
The A3 8Y Sedan, S3 8Y Sedan, and RS3 8Y Sedan all share the same MQB Evo-derived rear trunk lid panel. The S3 8Y Sedan (310 hp, 2.0 TFSI, Quattro) and RS3 8Y Sedan (400 hp, 2.5 TFSI five-cylinder, Quattro) are performance derivatives of the A3 8Y platform, but the rear trunk lid is shared across all three models. This spoiler fits A3, S3, and RS3 8Y Sedan confirmed — from the entry A3 35 TFSI through the RS3 400 hp five-cylinder, all variants from 2021 onward.

The Audi A3 8Y represents a complete exterior redesign over the 8V on the new MQB Evo platform. The 8Y Sedan's rear trunk lid is a new panel with a sharper trailing edge character line, a more horizontal lid surface, and revised trunk lid proportions compared to the 8V. This spoiler is engineered specifically for the 8Y Sedan's new trunk lid geometry — not compatible with 8V.
