BMW E92 / E93 LCI Carbon Fiber Replacement Mirror Covers
Available in stock (20)
Carbon Fiber Replacement Mirror Covers for BMW E92 / E93 LCI
Give the exterior mirrors of a compatible BMW 3 Series Coupe or Convertible a gloss carbon-fiber finish. These replacement-style covers change the outer mirror-cap appearance rather than adding a complete mirror assembly.
Fitment
- BMW E92: LCI Coupe, 2-door.
- BMW E93: LCI Convertible, 2-door.
- Detailed fitment list: 2010–2013.
- Excluded: BMW E90 / E92 / E93 M3 models.
- Pre-LCI mirror caps are described in the source as different and are not confirmed applications.
Year information requires verification: the original introduction lists 2009–2012, while the detailed fitment lists 2010–2013. These are conflicting ranges, not a combined 2009–2013 compatibility guarantee. Confirm the VIN, production date, LCI specification and actual mirror housing before ordering, especially for transition-year vehicles.
The existing hidden vehicle-filter data also contains E90 Sedan and E91 Wagon entries. Those entries do not establish compatibility for this E92 / E93 LCI listing. Left-hand-drive and right-hand-drive applications, regional mirror differences and aftermarket mirror housings are not individually confirmed. Compare the cap profile, mounting interfaces and housing dimensions with the actual vehicle.
Material and Finish
- Source-specified 3×3 weave carbon fiber.
- Smooth gloss surface with double-layer UV-protected clear coating.
- Replacement-style outer mirror covers.
The source does not specify dry-carbon manufacture, prepreg construction, a particular curing method, complete laminate composition or measured component weight. Permanent fade resistance and quantified weight savings are not claimed.
Package and Product Scope
The original product title describes a pair, but the detailed package information does not itemize the quantity or left/right contents. Confirm that both required sides are supplied before ordering. An installation tool is explicitly listed as included; its type is not specified. Tape, screws and additional clips are not itemized as included.
This is a mirror-cover listing, not a complete mirror assembly. Mirror glass, motors, wiring, heating elements and electronic modules are not specified as included. M3-style search terms do not override the explicit M3 fitment exclusion.
Replacement Installation
The source specifies replacement style, rather than an adhesive overlay fitted over the original cap. Confirm the original-cap removal procedure and exact retention arrangement before work. Professional installation is recommended if unfamiliar with mirror disassembly.
- Compare the original and replacement covers before removing or modifying components.
- Check mounting points and retention features for alignment; do not force a mismatched cap onto the housing.
- Protect the mirror glass, housing, wiring and any fitted equipment during removal.
- Verify secure seating, edge alignment and clearance through the mirror's full adjustment and folding movement where fitted.
- Check relevant original functions and keep any fitted lamps, sensors, cameras and drainage paths unobstructed.
The included tool does not guarantee that it is sufficient for every vehicle or removal procedure. A universal plug-and-play fit, no-modification installation and fixed installation time are not promised. These cosmetic covers do not add heating, power folding, auto-dimming or other electronic functions.
Appearance and Performance
The visible weave creates a coordinated carbon-fiber accent alongside compatible exterior trim. No aerodynamic test data is supplied, so reduced drag, improved handling and fuel savings are not claimed. New outer covers do not repair damaged internal mirror mechanisms or broken mounting supports.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are these overlays or replacement caps?
The source specifies replacement-style mirror covers, not tape-on overlays.
Will they fit an M3?
No. E90, E92 and E93 M3 models are explicitly excluded.
Which years should I check?
The detailed list says 2010–2013, but the introduction says 2009–2012. Verify production date, LCI status and actual mirror housing rather than relying on year alone.
Is a left/right pair confirmed?
The original title says pair, while the detailed contents are not itemized. Confirm both supplied sides before ordering.
Is an installation tool included?
Yes. The source lists a tool, but does not specify its type or list tape, screws or extra clips.
