BMW F10 5 Series / M5 Sedan Carbon Fiber Rear Trunk Spoiler

Carbon Fiber Rear Trunk Spoiler for BMW F10 Sedan
Finish the rear trunk contour of your F10 with a molded carbon-fiber styling accent in gloss clear coat. This product's detailed source names selected 5 Series Base/M Sport sedans and M5. It is a trunk spoiler, not a replacement trunk lid, roof spoiler or complete body kit.
Source-Listed Vehicle Applications
- BMW 5 Series F10 Sedan, Base/M Sport.
- Petrol models named: 520i, 523i, 528i, 530i, 535i and 550i.
- Diesel models named: 518d, 520d, 525d, 530d, 535d and M550d.
- BMW M5 F10 Sedan.
Verify model year and chassis before purchase. The original source groups these vehicles under 2011–2018 without a verified model-by-year table. In particular, the later 2017–2018 endpoint and its F10/M5 combinations require confirmation. The public title and SEO do not present that grouped range as established year-by-year compatibility.
Confirm VIN, production date, regional model year, chassis generation, trim and actual trunk-lid contour. Do not rely on registration year alone. A listed engine badge does not establish every market, year or drivetrain combination, nor fitment on a later-generation 5 Series or M5.
The detailed source specifies Sedan. Touring/wagon, Gran Turismo/hatchback, long-wheelbase versions and modified trunk lids are not confirmed. Hidden entries for 2010, 2018, hatchback, ActiveHybrid 5 and xDrive configurations do not independently expand the detailed fitment. General M550i or high-kick search tags do not establish additional applications or a specific spoiler profile.
Trunk Profile and Existing Spoilers
Compare the full mounting footprint with the vehicle's actual trunk surface. The source does not document fit over an existing factory or aftermarket spoiler, removal procedures or coverage of old mounting holes. Confirm these details before disturbing original trim. A grouped Base/M Sport/M5 application is not a substitute for checking the individual mounting contour.
Material and Finish
- Specified material: genuine molded 3×3 weave carbon fiber.
- Gloss finish with a double-layer UV-protected clear coating.
A dry-carbon process, full laminate composition, curing method, dimensions and measured component weight are not supplied. Measured weight savings and permanent resistance to fading are not established.
Package and Installation
The trunk spoiler and installation tape are listed. Exact molded piece count and tape quantity are not itemized. Screws, brackets, clips, replacement trunk hardware and additional adhesive products are not listed as included.
The source describes no-drill installation with double-sided tape. Confirm correct fit and appropriate adhesive retention before fitting. Included tape does not establish suitable attachment on every painted, wrapped, repaired or altered surface.
Test-fit before removing adhesive backing or disturbing existing trim. Professional installation is recommended if the contour, existing spoiler or surface condition is uncertain. Do not drill or force a mismatched part into position.
Prepare clean, dry contact surfaces and follow the adhesive manufacturer's application-temperature, pressure and curing instructions. Verify full trunk opening and closing clearance, normal latch operation, rear visibility and unobstructed lights, camera and release controls where fitted. The original visibility claim must be checked on the actual vehicle rather than assumed.
Check secure attachment before driving and recheck according to the installer's guidance. Do not use the spoiler as a trunk handle or lifting point.
Performance Scope
This listing describes an exterior styling upgrade. No measured drag, downforce or vehicle-stability results are supplied, so reduced drag, increased rear downforce, improved handling and structural protection are not promised.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is M5 included in the source?
Yes. The detailed listing names F10 M5 Sedan alongside selected 5 Series Base/M Sport sedans, subject to checking the specific year and trunk configuration.
Does 2011–2018 confirm every model-year combination?
No. It is the original grouped source range, not a verified fitment table. The later endpoint requires particular verification.
Does it fit a GT or Touring?
Those body styles are not confirmed by the detailed Sedan listing, even where a hidden filter entry says hatchback.
Is tape included and is drilling required?
Tape is listed, and the source describes no-drill attachment. Correct contour, surface preparation and secure retention still need checking.
Is it dry carbon?
The source specifies molded 3×3 carbon fiber without confirming a dry-carbon manufacturing process.
