BMW 5 Series F10 / M5 Sedan Carbon Fiber Rear Trunk Spoiler
Available in stock (20)
Carbon Fiber Rear Trunk Spoiler for BMW F10 5 Series / M5 Sedan
Add a gloss carbon-fiber accent along the rear trunk contour of your F10 sedan. The detailed source lists both selected non-M 5 Series configurations and M5, rather than M5 alone. This molded trunk spoiler is an exterior styling component, not a complete replacement trunk lid.
Source-Listed Applications
- BMW 5 Series F10 Sedan, Base/M Sport.
- Petrol model names: 520i, 523i, 528i, 530i, 535i and 550i.
- Diesel model names: 518d, 520d, 525d, 530d, 535d and M550d.
- BMW M5 F10 Sedan.
Model-year verification is required. The original source groups these vehicles under 2011–2018 without a verified model-by-year table. Do not interpret that range as confirmation of every listed engine, trim, drivetrain or regional model-year combination. In particular, the 2017–2018 endpoint and its F10/M5 applications require verification before ordering. The public title and SEO title therefore avoid presenting that grouped range as established compatibility.
Confirm VIN, production date, regional model year, exact chassis and actual trunk-lid profile. Do not use registration year alone to identify the generation. A later-generation 5 Series or M5 is not confirmed by an overlapping year or model badge.
The detailed source specifies Sedan. Touring/wagon, Gran Turismo/hatchback, long-wheelbase variants and other generations are not confirmed. Existing hidden entries for 2010, 2018, hatchback, ActiveHybrid 5 and xDrive configurations do not independently expand the detailed fitment; those specific combinations require verification.
Existing Spoiler and Trunk Configuration
Check the intended mounting footprint against the actual trunk surface, including any factory or aftermarket spoiler. The source does not establish fit over an existing spoiler, the removal procedure, or coverage of old mounting holes. Modified or replacement trunk lids require separate checking. Base, M Sport and M5 names in the grouped list do not eliminate the need to verify the mounting contour.
Material and Finish
- Specified material: genuine molded 3×3 weave carbon fiber.
- Gloss finish with a double-layer UV-protected clear coating.
A dry-carbon curing process, full laminate composition, dimensions and measured component weight are not supplied. Measured weight savings, a specific high-kick profile and permanent resistance to fading are not established by the detailed specification.
Package and Attachment
The trunk spoiler and installation tape are listed. Exact molded piece count and tape quantity are not itemized. Screws, brackets, clips, replacement trunk hardware and additional adhesive products are not listed as included.
The source describes double-sided-tape installation without drilling or modification. Confirm correct fit and suitable adhesive retention on the actual mounting surface before installation. Tape availability does not establish compatibility with every painted, wrapped, repaired or altered surface.
Installation Guidance
Test-fit before removing adhesive backing or disturbing existing trim. Professional installation is recommended where the contour, existing spoiler or surface condition is uncertain. Do not drill or force a mismatched part into position.
Prepare clean, dry contact surfaces and follow the adhesive manufacturer's application-temperature, pressure and curing instructions. Check full trunk opening and closing clearance, normal latch operation, rear visibility and unobstructed lights, camera and release controls where fitted. The source's visibility claim must be checked on the vehicle rather than assumed.
Verify secure attachment before driving and recheck according to the installer's guidance. Do not use the spoiler as a trunk handle or lifting point.
Performance Scope
This listing describes an exterior styling upgrade. No measured drag, downforce or vehicle-stability results are supplied, so reduced drag, increased rear downforce, improved handling and structural protection are not promised.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this listing only for M5?
No. The detailed source also names selected F10 5 Series Base/M Sport sedans. Verify the specific model and trunk configuration.
Does the original 2011–2018 wording confirm every year?
No. It is a grouped source range, not a verified compatibility table. The later endpoint and individual model-year combinations need checking.
Will it fit a Touring or GT?
Those body styles are not confirmed by the detailed Sedan fitment, even where hidden filter data says hatchback.
Are tape and no-drill installation specified?
Yes. The source lists tape and describes no-drill mounting, subject to correct fit, surface preparation and suitable retention.
Is it dry carbon?
The source specifies molded 3×3 carbon fiber without confirming a dry-carbon manufacturing process.
