BMW F80 M3 / F82 F83 M4 Carbon Fiber Front Bumper Lip, 2014–2019

Carbon Fiber Front Lip for BMW F80 M3 and F82 / F83 M4

Give the lower front bumper a gloss carbon-fiber accent with this front lip for the listed F80 M3 Sedan, F82 M4 Coupe and F83 M4 Convertible applications. This listing is for the front bumper lip, not a complete bumper or the additional body parts shown in the reference images below.

Vehicle Fitment

• BMW F80 M3 Sedan, 4-door.
• BMW F82 M4 Coupe, 2-door.
• BMW F83 M4 Convertible, 2-door.
• Required bumper: factory M3/M4 bumper.

Year verification required: the original title and introductory description specify 2014–2019, while the detailed fitment list states “(2014) 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020.” These are combined application ranges, not a confirmed year-by-year table for each chassis. Verify VIN, production date, regional model year and actual bumper profile, particularly for 2014 and 2020. The 2020 entry is not treated as confirmed fitment solely because it appears in the list.

Compatibility with Competition, CS, GTS or other special-edition bumper and splitter arrangements is not separately documented. Existing CS/GTS search-filter entries do not establish physical compatibility. Non-M 3 Series or 4 Series bumpers, M Sport bumpers, conversion bumpers and aftermarket bumpers are not confirmed applications.

Material and Surface Finish

• Specified material: 3×3 weave carbon fiber.
• Source-described construction: hand-laid carbon fiber with pre-impregnated carbon fiber cloth and epoxy resin.
• Gloss finish with a double-layer UV-protected clear coating.

The listed process does not independently establish dry-carbon construction. Exact laminate composition, curing method, component weight and dimensions are not supplied. No test data is provided to substantiate increased downforce, improved traction, reduced lift or improved handling.

Package and Installation Supplies

• Front bumper lip; exact molded piece count is not itemized.
• Self-tapping screws and tape are listed as included; quantities are not specified.

Side skirts, trunk spoiler, rear diffuser, rear bumper splitters, engine cover and seat-back covers shown or referenced as related products are not listed as included with this front lip. Additional brackets, clips and fasteners are not documented.

Installation Guidance

Professional installation is recommended. Test-fit before drilling or applying tape. Confirm the mounting footprint against the factory bumper and any existing lower trim or splitter. The source does not specify whether original lower trim must be retained or removed, or establish a replacement-versus-overlay arrangement.

Self-tapping screws are included, so no-drill installation is not promised. Have the installer determine suitable fastening locations, pilot-hole requirements and access behind the bumper, avoiding wiring, hoses, sensors and concealed equipment. Tape does not establish adequate tape-only retention.

For taped surfaces, use clean, dry mounting areas and follow the adhesive manufacturer's temperature, application and curing instructions. Check ground clearance, bumper alignment and access to required vehicle equipment. Keep air openings, lights and sensors unobstructed, and verify secure attachment before driving. Do not use the lip as a lifting point or assume structural impact protection.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this fit a standard 3 Series or 4 Series M Sport bumper?
The source specifies factory M3/M4 bumpers only. Non-M and conversion-bumper fitment is not established.

Does it fit every chassis from 2014 through 2020?
No complete chassis-by-year application table is supplied, and the source year ranges conflict. Verify the specific vehicle rather than applying the combined range to every model.

Are screws and tape included?
Both are listed. Quantities and mounting-point allocation are not specified.

Is this dry carbon?
The source specifies carbon fiber, pre-impregnated cloth and epoxy resin, but does not confirm a dry-carbon process.
