Carbon Fiber Front Bumper Lip Spoiler for BMW G80 M3, G82 & G83 M4 (2021+)

A front lip spoiler cut for the current M3 and M4 bumper. It fills the open space beneath the front bumper and pushes the nose visually closer to the road, which is what most owners are after, but it also does real work: as air passes over the lip it reduces front end lift and generates downforce, so the front axle keeps better traction and the car feels more settled at speed. The part is hand laid from pre-impregnated 3x3 weave carbon cloth and epoxy resin, then finished in a gloss clear coat for UV protection, and the mould comes from 3D laser scanning and CAD work on the actual bumper.

Fitment

• Not for: non-M G20 3 Series or G22 4 Series, F80 M3, F82 M4, or M3 Touring

The M bumper is a different shape from the standard G20 and G22 bumper, so this will not fit a non-M car. Confirm your chassis code by VIN, or send front bumper photos to check, before ordering.

Installation

This lip is fixed with both tape and self-tapping screws. The screws form their own holes in the underside of the bumper, so the installation is not fully reversible and professional fitting is recommended.

1. Clean and degrease the lower edge of the front bumper, then dry it fully.
2. Dry-fit the lip and mark the alignment and screw positions before fixing anything.
3. Apply the tape along the contact edge, set the lip on the marks and press it home.
4. Fit the self-tapping screws evenly, working from the centre outward, and check the gaps on both sides.

FAQ

Is this tape-on only? No. Tape and self-tapping screws are both used, so plan for a permanent installation.

Does it fit a non-M 3 Series or 4 Series? No. The G20 and G22 front bumpers are shaped differently from the M bumper.

Is it real carbon fiber? Yes, hand-laid prepreg carbon fiber with epoxy resin under a gloss clear coat.

Does it fit the G83 convertible? Yes. The G82 coupe and G83 convertible share the same front bumper.
