BMW G87 M2 Base Coupe Carbon Fiber Replacement Trunk Lid Cover, 2023–2024

Carbon Fiber Replacement-Style Trunk Lid Cover for BMW G87 M2

Add a gloss carbon-fiber finish to the rear of your M2 coupe. The source names this part a trunk lid cover and specifies replacement-style installation. It does not provide enough construction detail to establish whether it is a complete trunk lid assembly or a replacement outer panel. Confirm the part's structure, coverage and mounting provisions before purchase; it is not documented as a tape-on overlay.

Vehicle Fitment and Year Clarification

• BMW M2 G87, Base as named in the original title.
• Body style: Coupe, 2-door.
• 2023–2024 is the overlap between the original title's 2023+ range and the description's 2022–2024 range.

The original description and URL include 2022, while the title starts at 2023. The conflicting 2022 application requires verification and is not included in the stated fitment here. Later years are not separately confirmed. Match the exact vehicle, production date, rear panel profile and mounting points before ordering. Other M2 generations, trims and modified rear bodywork require separate verification.

Material and Finish

• 3×3 weave carbon fiber, according to the supplied specification.
• Glossy surface with a double-layer UV-protected clear coating.
• Dry-carbon construction, inner structure and a specific curing process are not documented.

Professional Installation

The source specifies replacement-style installation and strongly recommends professional installation. It does not identify fasteners, attachment details, drilling requirements or included mounting accessories. Verify the installation instructions and required component transfers before removing the original part.

Test-fit and check panel gaps, body clearance and secure attachment. Where the part interfaces with hinges, latch components, seals, wiring or rear equipment, confirm the necessary provisions and transfers. Check full opening, closing and positive latch engagement before use. Do not force fitment or assume that original components transfer without further work.

Package Details

The product is listed as a trunk lid cover. Exact piece count, dimensions, inner-panel construction and accessory quantities are not specified. Hinges, latch components, seals, wiring, emblems and mounting hardware are not confirmed as included. Verify contents and structural suitability for the intended replacement before purchase.
