BMW CSL-Style DRL LED Module Set for Selected F & G Chassis

CSL-Style DRL LED Modules for Selected BMW F and G Chassis

Personalize a compatible BMW's daytime-running-light appearance with a model-specific DRL LED module set. Choose the actual chassis and original-headlight configuration, color and heatsink option separately. This listing covers selected F- and G-code applications, not all BMW G chassis and not one universal module.

These are DRL modules, not complete headlights or high / low beam conversions. CSL-style describes an appearance reference, not original BMW manufacture or automatic compatibility with CSL editions.

Source-Listed Vehicle Ranges

• 2021–2024: G80 M3 and G82 / G83 M4, Pre-LCI.
• 2021 onward: F90 M5 and G30 5 Series, labeled LCI in the description. See the unresolved selector conflict below.
• 2019–2022: G20 3 Series, Pre-LCI.
• 2023 onward: G20 3 Series, LCI.
• 2021–2024: G22 / G23 / G26 4 Series Coupe / Convertible / Gran Coupe, Pre-LCI.
• 2018–2021 and 2022 onward, separate source ranges: F97 X3M / F98 X4M / G01 X3 / G02 X4. The selector separates Pre-LCI and LCI LED versions.
• 2019 onward, combined range: F91 / F92 / F93 M8 and G14 / G15 / G16 8 Series.
• 2019–2023, combined range: F95 X5M / F96 X6M / G05 X5 / G06 X6, Pre-LCI.
• 2023 onward, combined range: G87 M2 and G42 2 Series.

These are source ranges, not individual production histories for each chassis, body style, engine or market. Do not apply a combined starting year independently to every named model. No final year is provided for ranges originally labeled Present; they do not guarantee later revisions or future vehicles.

Verify VIN, production date, actual chassis, body style, facelift configuration and original headlight / DRL module part numbers. At facelift boundaries, including 2024 vehicles in the listed Pre-LCI groups, actual lamp configuration takes priority over year alone. Do not import broader fitment dates from another product.

Important Fitment Conflicts and Selection Limits

F90 M5 / G30 5 Series: The description specifies 2021 onward LCI, but the two existing selector labels say Pre-LCI, with LED and Xenon versions. The source does not reconcile the facelift conflict or validate the Xenon designation with a part-number chart. Do not assume either label is correct for the actual car. Obtain product-specific confirmation of chassis, build date, original lamp and module part numbers before ordering. Selector labels are preserved, not silently corrected.

8 Series / M8: The selector names the chassis group without a lamp-technology or facelift breakdown. Confirm the exact original headlight version rather than assuming every assembly fits.

G87 / G42: Adaptive and Non-Adaptive LED are separate choices. G20 LCI: Full LED with cornering lights and Standard LED are distinct labels; the cornering-light version also separates EU and US. Match the actual original lamp's regional specification, not simply where the buyer lives, particularly on imported vehicles.

Laser, LED, Xenon, Adaptive and Cornering lights identify the listed original equipment to match. They do not establish interchangeability, add those functions or guarantee retention of every original feature. Regional compatibility is not fully documented for options without a regional label. Aftermarket or previously converted headlights require individual assessment.

Six Color Options

• CSL Yellow: CSL-inspired yellow DRL appearance.
• Amber: Separately listed amber color, not another name for CSL Yellow.
• Duo Color: White and Yellow: Listed dual-color configuration; switching method and activation conditions are not detailed.
• OEM White: The source's white color designation, not proof of genuine OEM manufacture or exact factory color matching.
• Red: Separately listed red option.
• RGB: Listed RGB option; supported colors, controls and operating modes require confirmation.

The source does not specify remote controls, app connectivity, controllers, automatic color changes or included switching accessories. Dynamic is descriptive language, not confirmation of startup animations or sequential indicators. Operation with parking lights, low beams and turn signals is not individually documented. Confirm the selected color and headlight combination's actual behavior and contents before purchase.

Heatsink Options and Contents

• No. DRL Only: Module version without included heatsinks.
• Yes. Include Heatsink: Module version with heatsinks included.

The source includes one DRL LED module set in the selected configuration. Heatsinks are included only with the corresponding option. Exact module count, supplied sides, heatsink quantity, material and preassembly are not itemized. Confirm contents for the actual chassis and lamp version.

For DRL-only orders, have the installer verify whether compatible original heatsinks can be reused and what thermal-management components are needed. Full headlights, lenses, tools, adapters, wiring harnesses, controllers, remotes, seals, thermal paste and pads are not individually specified as included.

Professional Installation and Checks

Professional installation by a qualified BMW lighting specialist is recommended. The source advertises plug-and-play fitting but provides no installation guide covering every listed combination. Universal modification-free, coding-free and warning-free operation is not established.

Headlight removal, internal access and any housing-opening requirements are not described. Confirm the correct procedure for the actual assembly before dismantling parts. Do not assume lens separation or resealing is necessary or unnecessary.

• Verify actual chassis, build date, original lamp and module part numbers; resolve source conflicts before ordering.
• Match facelift, lamp technology, adaptive / cornering equipment and regional specification where relevant.
• Confirm mounting interfaces, connectors and electrical requirements before modifying components.
• Verify compatible heatsinks, secure thermal contact and suitable thermal-interface materials using product-specific instructions.
• Protect electronics and wiring; restore any disturbed covers and seals correctly.
• Assess coding, configuration and diagnostic requirements.
• Test supplied color modes, indicators and relevant original lighting functions on both sides as applicable.
• Check secure mounting, warning messages and thermal operation before returning the vehicle to use.

Retention of every original adaptive-lighting, cornering-light, leveling, high-beam and diagnostic function is not independently documented. Left-hand-drive / right-hand-drive compatibility is not separately specified.

Measured light output, wattage, exact color coordinates, environmental ratings and service life are not supplied. Increased brightness, visibility, safety, efficiency and durability are not claimed without supporting evidence. Color availability does not establish suitability for every intended use; confirm appropriate product documentation before purchase. No universal road-use approval or fixed installation time is asserted.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this universal for all BMW G chassis?
No. It lists selected F- and G-code applications with different headlight-specific modules.

Which F90 / G30 option should I select?
The description and selector conflict on LCI versus Pre-LCI, and the Xenon label lacks supporting part numbers. Obtain product-specific confirmation before selecting.

Are all colors available for every headlight?
Color names alone do not establish every combination's availability or function. Confirm the actual selectable configuration and its contents.

Does the RGB or dual-color version include a remote?
Controls and switching accessories are not specified.

Are heatsinks standard?
No. They are included only with Yes. Include Heatsink.

How many modules are included?
The source states one set, without a chassis-specific module or side count. Confirm complete contents before purchase.
