Porsche Taycan 9J1 Turbo S RHD Dry Carbon Fiber Replacement Mirror Caps, 2019–2021

Dry Carbon Fiber Replacement Mirror Caps for Porsche Taycan Turbo S

Add a polished gloss carbon-fiber accent to compatible original mirror assemblies. These replacement caps take the place of the existing covers; they are not adhesive overlays or complete mirror assemblies.

Listed Vehicle Fitment

• Porsche Taycan Turbo S, identified as 9J1 in the original product title.
• Body style: four-door Sedan.
• Source-listed years: 2019, 2020 and 2021.
• Right-hand-drive vehicles only.

Left-hand-drive vehicles are outside the stated fitment. RHD describes the vehicle's steering configuration, not a right-side-only package.

Verify VIN, production date, regional specification and the actual mirror housing before ordering. The source lists 2019 without distinguishing build date from model year; confirm that starting-year application on the actual vehicle. Registration year alone does not establish compatibility.

Other Taycan trims, Cross Turismo or Sport Turismo bodies, unlisted years and aftermarket mirror assemblies are not confirmed applications. Check housing contours, attachment tabs and equipment openings rather than assuming shared model naming establishes fit.

Material and Finish

• The detailed source describes real pure dry carbon-fiber caps.
• Polished gloss surface.
• UV-protected clear coating.

No weave pattern, detailed laminate schedule, thickness, dimensions or measured component weight is supplied. A particular prepreg grade or autoclave curing process is not established. Quantified weight savings and permanent fade or scratch resistance are not claimed.

Replacement Structure and Package Scope

Installation is described as removal of the original mirror cover followed by buckle-mounted attachment of the replacement cap. Confirm matching retention geometry before disassembly; do not fit this product over an original cap as though it were an add-on cover.

An installation tool is listed as included. The URL describes a pair, but the detailed package text does not itemize left/right contents or exact piece count. Confirm package contents before ordering. Adhesive tape, screws, mirror glass, motors, cameras, lamps and wiring are not specified as included.

Installation and Equipment Checks

Professional installation is recommended to avoid damage to mirror glass, tabs, wiring and surrounding trim. Follow a suitable cover-removal procedure and inspect the original attachment points. Test-fit and engage each required buckle without forcing the cap onto a mismatched housing.

The source describes installation without modification, cutting or drilling. Verify that procedure against the actual mirror assembly rather than treating it as a universal fit guarantee. The included tool does not establish that it is sufficient for every disassembly task.

Match any camera, indicator or lighting openings where fitted. Compatibility with every optional mirror configuration is not separately documented. These caps do not add or replace heating, power adjustment, folding, camera or driver-assistance functions.

After fitting, confirm cap retention, full mirror-glass adjustment and unobstructed folding travel where applicable. Check relevant lamps, camera views and existing electrical functions, and keep drainage and service access clear. Do not drive with loose caps or impaired mirror operation. Recheck attachment according to the installer's guidance.

Performance Scope

These caps provide exterior styling. No aerodynamic, downforce, stability, wind-noise or energy-efficiency test results are supplied. Measurable performance or range improvements are not claimed.
