Mercedes-Benz W205 Sport / C43 / C63 / C450 AMG Sedan Replacement Rear Diffuser, Carbon Fiber or FRP

Replacement Rear Diffuser for Mercedes-Benz W205 Sport / AMG Sedan

Update the lower rear bumper of your listed W205 sedan with a replacement-style diffuser in your choice of Carbon Fiber or Glossy Black FRP. The source describes replacement of the factory plastic diffuser, not a tape-on overlay or complete rear bumper assembly.

Listed Applications and Year Limits

• W205 C200, C250, C300 and C350 Sport Sedan: the introduction lists a combined 2015–2020 range.
• W205 C43, C63, C63 S and C450 AMG Sedan: the introduction separately lists a combined 2015–2017 range.
• Not for W205 Base models.

These source ranges are not verified model-by-year compatibility tables. Do not apply 2015 to every named AMG model, extend AMG fitment through 2020, or assume every Sport sedan within the combined range has the same rear bumper.

The old title combines “Pre-facelift” with 2015–2020, the detailed year line places 2018–2020 in parentheses, and the URL ends at 2019. This does not resolve the actual bumper-generation application. The revised title and SEO omit a blanket year range and facelift claim. Confirm VIN, production date, regional model year, exact bumper specification and factory diffuser mounting footprint before ordering, particularly for later-year vehicles.

Sport and AMG bumper designs must be checked individually; the listing of multiple models does not establish interchangeability between them. Diesel, hybrid, plug-in hybrid and drivetrain-specific filter entries do not independently expand the detailed application. C205 Coupe, A205 Convertible, Estate/Wagon, other chassis, conversion bumpers and aftermarket bumpers are not confirmed applications.

Material Options

• Carbon Fiber: the source specifies 3×3 weave carbon fiber with a gloss, double-layer UV-protected clear coating. The complete laminate composition and reinforcement structure are not supplied.
• Glossy Black FRP: fiberglass-reinforced plastic with a glossy black appearance, not a carbon-weave finish. Do not apply the carbon-fiber specification to this option.

Select the required material before ordering. The general source material line combines carbon fiber/fiberglass without a complete construction breakdown. A dry-carbon process, pre-impregnated cloth, pure-carbon-throughout construction, measured weight savings and permanent resistance to fading are not established. Dimensions, component weight and molded piece count are not supplied.

Brake-Light Claim Requires Verification

The original title says “W/Brake Light,” but the detailed description and package information do not confirm an included lamp, its location, wiring, connector, voltage, control behavior or installation instructions. A supplied or functioning brake light is therefore not promised in the revised product name.

Confirm the exact package and lighting provision before ordering. Do not assume plug-and-play wiring, a flashing-light function or compatibility with the vehicle's lighting electronics. If a lamp is supplied, have a qualified installer verify the correct electrical connection, operation and secure mounting without disabling original safety lighting.

Package and Replacement Installation

The source lists replacement-style installation and included self-tapping screws. Exact hardware quantities, clips, brackets and additional attachment requirements are not itemized. Tape, exhaust tips, exhaust pipes, reflectors and wiring are not specified as included. The brake-light package claim remains subject to the verification above.

Professional installation is recommended. Remove the original diffuser according to the verified installation procedure and test-fit the replacement before drilling or altering trim. Check alignment and the complete mounting footprint. Self-tapping screws are included, so no-drill and no-modification installation are not promised.

Exhaust and Equipment Clearance

Exhaust-opening count, shape, dimensions and compatible tip sizes are not supplied. Compare the actual diffuser openings with the individual exhaust layout; do not infer single-, dual- or quad-tip compatibility from Sport, C43 or C63 naming alone.

Have the installer verify heat clearance, exhaust movement and expansion, and retain appropriate original heat shielding. Tips must not contact the diffuser or direct hot gases onto the panel. An exhaust conversion is not represented as included.

Inspect behind proposed attachment points to avoid wiring, sensors and other components. Preserve parking sensors, lights, reflectors, towing access, drainage and service access where fitted. If hands-free trunk-opening equipment is fitted, verify sensor location and operation before and after installation; compatibility is not established by the source.

Confirm secure retention before driving and recheck according to the installer's guidance. A fixed installation time and universal direct fit are not promised. Check clearance over ramps, speed bumps and curbs. This diffuser is not a structural guard or recovery point.

Performance Scope

No measured downforce, drag, cooling, handling or fuel-economy results are supplied. This listing describes an exterior styling replacement rather than a verified aerodynamic improvement.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the 2015–2020 range apply to every AMG model?
No. The introduction lists a separate 2015–2017 combined AMG range, which still requires individual model-year verification.

Is a brake light definitely included?
The old title claims one, but the detailed package does not confirm it. Verify the package and electrical specification before ordering.

Is Glossy Black FRP carbon fiber?
No. It is a separate fiberglass-reinforced plastic option with a glossy black appearance.

Is this an overlay?
No. The detailed source describes replacement of the factory plastic diffuser.

Are exhaust tips and tape supplied?
Neither is specified as included. Self-tapping screws are listed.
