Porsche Panamera 971 SWB Carbon Fiber Side Skirt Extensions 2017–2020
Available in stock (20)
Carbon Fiber Side Skirt Extensions for Porsche Panamera 971
Add a gloss carbon-fiber accent along the lower sides of a compatible Panamera 971. These extensions mount to the existing side skirts rather than replacing the complete rocker panels, complementing the appearance of other carbon-fiber exterior trim.
Fitment: Short-Wheelbase Only
- Platform: Porsche Panamera 971.
- Source-listed body styles: Hatchback and Sport Turismo Wagon.
- Source-listed years: 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.
- Mandatory restriction: short-wheelbase models only.
Executive / wheelbase conflict: the original model list and hidden vehicle-filter data include multiple Executive entries, but the same detailed fitment explicitly states short-wheelbase only. The wheelbase restriction takes priority. Do not treat those Executive entries as confirmed compatibility; long-wheelbase / Executive applications are not offered by this description.
The source lists non-Executive Panamera Base, Panamera 4, 4S, 4S Diesel, 4 E-Hybrid, Turbo, Turbo S E-Hybrid and GTS, together with Sport Turismo versions of Panamera 4, 4S, 4S Diesel, 4 E-Hybrid, Turbo, Turbo S E-Hybrid and GTS. These are combined source designations, not a year-by-year or market-by-market availability chart. Verify model designation, body style, wheelbase and original side skirt profile for the actual vehicle, including early Sport Turismo and diesel applications.
Confirm VIN, build date, mounting length and attachment surfaces before ordering. Compatibility with every trim package, hybrid configuration, regional variant or bumper / body revision is not separately established. Other Panamera generations, unlisted years and aftermarket side skirt conversions are not confirmed applications. Hidden special-edition entries do not independently establish fitment.
Material and Finish
- Source-specified 3×3 weave carbon fiber.
- Glass-fiber composite reinforcement, as described in the original introduction.
- High-gloss finish with double-layer UV-protected clear coating.
This is not described as an all-carbon or dry-carbon component. Prepreg construction, a particular curing process, laminate proportions, dimensions and measured part weight are not supplied. Permanent fade or scratch resistance and quantified weight savings are not claimed.
Add-On Extension Design
The extensions attach to the vehicle's existing side skirts. They are not complete replacement rocker panels, structural sill repairs or steps for supporting body weight. Exact piece count, left/right package contents and dimensions are not itemized in the detailed source; confirm the supplied configuration before ordering.
Installation
- Self-tapping screws and installation tape are listed as included.
- Professional installation is recommended.
- Test-fit the entire mounting length before drilling, fastening or removing adhesive backing.
- Check door movement, edge alignment, road clearance and access to designated lifting points.
The installer must confirm suitable mounting support and inspect behind proposed screw locations. Avoid wiring, lines and any battery or high-voltage components where fitted. Self-tapping screws may require pilot holes or preparation, so the original no-modification claim is not retained. Included tape does not establish adequate retention without the specified mechanical attachment.
Prepare clean, dry, compatible bonding surfaces and follow the adhesive manufacturer's instructions for temperature, application pressure and curing time. Do not use the extensions as jacking points. Check clearance at relevant suspension ride heights where adjustable suspension is fitted, as well as at ramps and uneven surfaces. Verify secure mounting before driving and recheck according to the installer's guidance. A fixed installation time is not promised.
Styling and Performance
The gloss weave adds a visual accent along the side profile. No test data are supplied for downforce, drag, handling or fuel consumption, so performance improvements are not claimed. These extensions are not a substitute for repairing damaged original side skirts or mounting surfaces.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will these fit an Executive model?
The detailed source explicitly restricts fitment to short-wheelbase vehicles despite listing Executive entries elsewhere. Do not order for a long-wheelbase / Executive application on that basis.
Are Hatchback and Sport Turismo listed?
Yes, subject to the short-wheelbase requirement and verification of the actual model year, skirt profile and mounting length.
Do these replace the original side skirts?
No. The source describes extensions mounted to the existing side skirts.
Are they entirely carbon fiber?
The source describes carbon fiber reinforced with a glass-fiber composite, not an all-carbon laminate.
Are screws and tape included?
Yes. Both are listed. Professional assessment of drilling, support and correct attachment remains necessary.
