Tesla Model 3 Carbon Fiber Rear Air Conditioning Trim Cover

Carbon Fiber Rear Air Conditioning Trim for Tesla Model 3

Add a gloss carbon-fiber accent to the rear passenger air-conditioning trim area of a compatible Tesla Model 3 Sedan. The visible weave offers an interior styling detail without replacing the vehicle's air-conditioning system.

Fitment and Verification

• Vehicle: Tesla Model 3 Sedan.
• Detailed source-listed years: 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022.
• Location: rear passenger air-conditioning trim area, as identified in the original product listing.

The 2016 starting-year entry requires verification against the actual vehicle and production details; it should not be treated as confirmed compatibility. Existing vehicle-filter data covers entries from 2017 through 2021, while the detailed text also lists 2022. Confirm the 2022 panel configuration rather than relying on the year alone.

Before ordering, compare the original rear air-conditioning panel's outline, openings, surrounding trim and mounting surface with the supplied part. Confirm VIN, build date and regional specification where needed. The source does not distinguish individual interior revisions, trim levels, drivetrains or left-hand-drive versus right-hand-drive layouts. Other Tesla models, unlisted years and redesigned rear console layouts are not confirmed applications.

Material and Finish

• Detailed source specification: 3×3 weave carbon fiber.
• Smooth, glossy surface.
• Double-layer UV-protected clear coating.

The original title refers to dry carbon fiber, but the detailed material specification does not establish dry-carbon manufacture or a curing process. This description therefore does not claim dry-carbon or prepreg construction. Full laminate composition, dimensions and measured trim weight are not provided. Permanent resistance to fading, heat or scratches is not promised.

Product Scope

This is decorative rear air-conditioning trim, not a replacement HVAC assembly, vent mechanism or electronic control module. The source does not itemize the exact piece count or confirm whether original trim must remain in place or be removed. Verify the supplied cover configuration and installation method before ordering. A complete dashboard trim kit is not specified.

Installation

• Installation tape is listed as included.
• Screws, clips, replacement vents and electronic components are not specified as included.
• Test-fit before removing the adhesive backing. Do not force the cover onto a mismatched panel.
• Keep vent openings, adjustment mechanisms and any nearby ports or controls unobstructed where fitted.

Prepare clean, dry, compatible bonding surfaces and follow the adhesive manufacturer's temperature, pressure and curing instructions. Confirm edge alignment and secure attachment before use. Included tape does not establish reliable bonding to every surface or a universal no-modification fit. Do not drill into the console or disturb wiring or ventilation components to make the trim fit. Seek professional installation advice if removal of original trim or access around controls is uncertain.

Styling, Not HVAC Performance

The cover adds a carbon-fiber appearance to the rear cabin trim area. It does not add climate-control functions or repair a damaged vent. No cooling, airflow, energy-efficiency or aerodynamic improvement is claimed. Check that normal vent operation remains unaffected after installation.

Frequently Asked Questions
