Replacement Mirror Covers for VW Golf 8 MK8, GTI, R & R-Line (2021+)
A pair of replacement-style mirror caps for the MK8 Golf. Unlike stick-on overlays, these take the place of the factory covers entirely, so the surface sits flush and the mirror keeps its original profile rather than gaining a second skin. Choose carbon fiber for a premium 3x3 weave finish under a UV-resistant high-gloss coating, or ABS if you would rather paint or plate them to match the body. Either version is a direct replacement for the factory covers with no cutting or modification, and the removal tool is included.

Installation
- Fold the mirror out and locate the retaining clips along the edge of the factory cover.
- Use the supplied tool to release the clips and lift the original cover away.
- Line the new cover up with the mirror housing and press it on until every clip engages.
- Check that the cover is seated evenly all the way around before folding the mirror back.
FAQ
Are these overlays or full replacements? Full replacements. The factory covers come off and these go on in their place.
How do I tell if my car has lane assist? Cars with lane assist carry a sensor or camera housing in the mirror, which changes the shape of the cover. Compare your mirror to the option photos, or check the car's equipment list.
Can the ABS version be painted? Yes. The ABS accepts paint and plating, so it can be finished to match your body colour.
Do they fit a MK7 Golf? No. These are moulded for the MK8 mirror housing.
